Contents	:	Further to the announcement made on 31 March 2009 in respect of the deferment of the proposed joint venture, KAB wishes to announce that after due deliberation by the Board of Directors of CIHP and KAPL, both parties have mutually agreed to discontinue with the proposed joint venture. This announcement is dated 4 January 2010.
